- Environmental stewardship – We believe that to be successful we must care for the environment and carefully analyze the impact of our business activities on the environment.
- Strength in local economies – We believe in sustainability, strong local economies, and that being bigger is not always better.
What we are doing right now:
- NEW! Our labels are now printed on PURE Lables from Distand Village Packaging for all package sizes. Pure labels are made with 100% tree-free paper following socially and environmentally responsible business practices
- We use biodegradable zip-top plastic bags from Minigrip for the 16oz Brittle Bits as well as the 8oz and 16oz gift boxes
- Our peanuts are Certified Organic Valencia Peanuts grown in the southwestern United States
- Our butter is made by Kate’s Homemade in Old Orchard Beach, ME. Kate’s ensures the cream for their butter comes from cows NOT treated with Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH or rBST)
- We donate 5% of annual revenue to a charitable organization each year.
